Bill Payment Options
New homeowners are required to pay a Utility Deposit when filling out their Water Service Application Form. For your convenience, you can print the form online and mail it into the Village Hall at the address listed above. Please do not send cash through the mail. The utility deposit is returned to the homeowner when one of the three conditions occurs:
(1) Four billing cycles (1 year) has passed on your account or,
(2) The utility deposit will be applied to your first late bill to avoid being charged late fees. If the deposit does not cover the cost of the bill, the remaining balance will still be due, or
(3) The homeowner sells the property, in which case the deposit is deducted from the final bill. In the event that the final bill is less than the deposit, the remaining balance will be returned to the homeowner.

Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up an Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Agreement Form located below and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check.

Village hall is currenty closed to walk-in traffic. Please use the drop box located to the right of the front door. We accept cash but our discouraging this payment method due to the Coronavirus. You may also pay by check, money orders, and most major credit and debit cards.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Contesting the Charges on your Utility Bill
If you disagree with the charges on your utility bill (water, sewer, garbage, recycling) please feel free to discuss your bill with any our Village Collector. If you feel the Village Collector or the office was unable to help you, you may request to have your bill reviewed by our Public Works Hearing Committee. The committee will then review your bill and notify you with a final determination. A meeting with you and the committee may be required before a determination can be made.
