Need Foreclosure Help?

There are federal and state programs which can provide help on loan modifications and homeownership counseling.  The Illinois Association of REALTORS has compiled a review of the foreclosure resources that are available for homeowners at www.YourIllinoisHome.com under the “Foreclosure Resources” section.

Additional assistance for at-risk homeowners: FICO, the national credit score company, has developed a website with loan a modification questionnaire which helps homeowners determine whether they are eligible for a loan modification.  Upon submission of confidential data, an initial determination about qualification will be made, and a HUD-certified counselor will contact the homeowner within 48 hours.  This FICO website is www.MortgageReliefOnline.com.
