It’s that time of year again!
Yard Waste Collection will be on Wednesdays, starting with the first Wednesday in April. Stickers are $1.50, Brush Ties are $1.75, both can be purchased at the Carbon Cliff Village Hall, East Moline Jewel, East Moline Walgreens (both locations) and at the Silvis Hy-Vee. Yard Waste bags can be purchased at most home improvement stores: Menards, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

- A permit must be obtained from the Village Clerk prior to the start of a yard sale.
- Individuals may conduct three (3) yard sales per address within the Village per calendar year.
- No yard sale shall last longer than three (3) days.
- No individual my combine the allowed three (3) yard sales per address, per calendar year into one sale.
- Individuals are not allowed to conduct more than one yard sale per month, per address, per calendar year (except in the months of June and September when individuals are allowed to participate in the Village Wide yard sale).
- The Village Wide Yard Sales will be held on June 7, 8 & 9 and September 27, 28 & 29 (2013).

Needle Disposal At Home
Carefully Recap Your Needles. Place Needles And Syringes In A Puncture Resistant Container (Sharps Collector) Designed To Accommodate Used Needles And Syringes (Also Can Use Coffee Can Or Rigid Bleach Bottles). When Container Is Full, Pour One [1] Cup Bleach Over Used Needles / Syringes And Soak For One [1] Minute, Then Empty Bleach Solution From Container By Pouring Slowly Down Sink Drain. Take Precaution To Protect Yourself While Doing This Procedure!
