EXPLANATION OF PROPERTY TAX INFORMATION 1998 - 2007

Key Financial Strategies (KFS):  Ehlers & Associates submitted to the Village Board of Trustees this update to the Key Financial Strategies.  It is a review of the KFS for 2001 – 2005, progress to date, and recommendations for the years 2008 – 2012.

The Village of Carbon Cliff’s population has increased by 26.3% (2,134) since the last Census taken in 2000 (1,689).  This increase is the highest percentage rate increase for three counties in Illinois including Henry County, Mercer County & Rock Island County.  Residents of Carbon Cliff deserve huge congratulations for their participation in the 2010 Census.  An increase in population means our community is growing.  This also gives us the opportunity to bring additional funding into the Village.  We should all be proud of this great accomplishment.

JUDICIAL FORECLOSURE PROCEDURE ACT:

In accordance with Public Act 096-0856, effective December 31, 2009, amending the Judicial Foreclosure Procedure Act, all orders of foreclosures within the jurisdiction / city limits of the Village of Carbon Cliff shall be sent to:
