NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carbon Cliff Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to solicit comments on amendments to the Village of Carbon Cliff Zoning Code Establishing Requirements For Development to Steep Slope and Ravine Areas and will make a final recommendation to the Village of Carbon Cliff Board of Trustees.

Said public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Carbon Cliff Village Hall, 106 1st Avenue, Carbon Cliff, Illinois, at which time the Planning Commission will hear testimony for or against the amendments.

Copies of the amendments are on file at the office of the Village Clerk, Carbon Cliff Village Hall, 106 1st Avenue, Carbon Cliff, Illinois.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Carbon Cliff Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the request of Joseph and Florence Cantrell to consider a request for change in Zoning of property.  Present classification is R-2, One and Two Family Residence Districts; requesting to be rezoned as classification C-2, General Commercial District.

The rezoning is being requested for property known as Hampton Township Parcel No. 4081;

Garbage Collection Notice:  Residents along the road construction project route should continue to set their trash out like normal and the Village Maintenance Department will pick up your garbage.

- A permit must be obtained from the Village Clerk prior to the start of a yard sale.
- Permit is FREE of charge.
- Individuals may conduct three (3) yard sales per address within the Village per calendar year.
- No yard sale shall last longer than three (3) days.
- No individual my combine the allowed three (3) yard sales per address, per calendar year into one sale.
- Individuals are not allowed to conduct more than one yard sale per month, per address, per calendar year (except in the months of June and September when individuals are allowed to participate in the Village Wide yard sale).
- The Village Wide Yard Sales will be held on June 8, 9 & 10 and September 28, 29 & 30.
